Sun Liqing’s main fields of practice are TMT and intellectual property rights. Mr. Sun has successfully represented many cases to promote the development of the TMT industry. Representative work includes the following: provided litigation strategies for the plaintiff Sony Music (Hong Kong) in China’s first music network link infringement case and won the case; represented China’s first civil infringement case of P2P film transmission for the plaintiff in Beijing Ciwen Media Co., Ltd. v. Guangzhou POCO, and won the case; acted for the plaintiff in Sohu Company v. Baidu in the dispute over infringement of information network dissemination rights, a case which was selected as the top ten hot cases in APPI China’s copyright industry in 2018, etc. Sun Liqing is a leader in the research fields of copyright, patents and trademarks in the Internet industry, and is well received in and out of the industry for professionalism, enthusiasm and efficiency. In addition, Sun Liqing also gave lectures to the well-known Internet media IPForest and shared his professional experience and knowledge. He was selected as one of the TOP50 outstanding intellectual property lawyers in China, and won the honors such as 2019 ALB China Top 15 TMT lawyers.
